I can control the weather. Don't believe me? OK, test me. Give me a date in January or February when you'd like to see snow and ice. I'll schedule Nina's birthday party for that day.
Bam!
Done. Wish granted. Snow you shall have.
Tomorrow's forecast calls for a beautiful 60 degree sunny day. 48 hours later though, for her birthday party?
"Cloudy and cold with snow, sleet and freezing rain likely. Highs in the 20s. We should feel the effects of our winter storm the entire day with the system pulling out of the area during the late afternoon hours. The precipitation totals could be significant from this event. Areas that see all snow could be looking at several inches. Areas that see all ice could be looking at up to a half inch of ice accrual which could paralyzing."
If you don't live in the South, that may look like your every day January forecast. If you live in the South, however, you realize that the word "paralyzing" is all too true. The entire state may shut down.
Sigh.
Oh no. I hope the forecast improves for you guys!

Yep. We're in paralyzed, The World Is Ending mode here too. I'm sorry. It sucks.

We feel your pain. Katie's party was scheduled for Friday night but now it is in limbo. It never seems to get easy whether they are turning 6 or 15.

"Cloudy and cold with snow, sleet and freezing rain"; sounds familiar here in NW Mississippi. Thanks for inviting us into your home.
