Outside my window... I put out Halloween decorations in the yard today!
I am thinking... about planning a social event for Elise's new jump rope team.
I am thankful... for friends and family. I had a fantastic long weekend in New York with my best childhood friend and also got to meet up with my cousin's family who I hadn't seen in years.
From the kitchen... meatball subs.
I am creating... a new hang-out room for the girls. So far, we have bought a sofa, chair, and entertainment center. It is coming together.
I am going... to work on laundry. I have half-emptied suitcases from three trips worth of laundry to do.
I am reading... Wishing For You by Elizabeth Langston. I finished The House We Grew Up In by Lisa Jewell.
I am hoping... that we aren't completely broke after so much travel recently!
I am hearing... the TV show Violetta. It is a Spanish Disney show dubbed in English. Nina loves it. I have no idea why.
Around the house... things are finally getting put back together after being in such disarray while the hardwoods were being refinished.
One of my favorite things... my crockpot.
A few plans for the rest of the week... the usual - lots of jump rope, volleyball, and Girl Scouts. Friday is an early release day from school.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing... doing the tourist thing with my bestie. She and I have been friends since about 2nd grade. I'm shocked any time I think about how many years that is, so I'll spare you the number!
