Normally, we put the cookie boxes out on the table for display. On windy days, sometimes a couple will blow off. Today, entire cases of cookies were blowing off the table. I was warmer yesterday at a cookie booth while it was snowing.
I'm not entirely sure I will ever thaw out.

Did you at least sell more than usual? Surely, folks had to be feeling sorry for the kiddos (and moms) freezing their butts off in the cold, right?

No. We definitely had a few sympathy purchases, but the wind was so bitter that I think most people didn't want to stop long enough to look or dig through their purses for money! It was not a great booth by any means.
